If your system does not meet these requirements, please visit one of the following...
  • Fremont Police Department located at 2000 Stevenson Blvd, in the front lobby is a computer that will allow you access.
    •
  • Operating System:  Microsoft Windows 98 2nd Edition, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or later, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows XP Home Edition and Professional.
    •
 
  • Computer:  486 or Pentium-based PC with 16MB of memory (24MB required if using Windows NT 4.0).
    •
 
  • Hard Disk Space:  At least 80 MBs of free space on your Hard Drive (where temp files are stored).
    •
 
  • Monitor/Screen Resolution:  The Megan's Law website is designed to be viewed at 800x600 or higher screen resolution.
    •
 
  • Internet Browser:  Internet Explorer (Version 5.X or higher).  Netscape is currently not supported.
    •
 
  • Map Plug-in:  AutoDesk MapGuide ActiveX plugin for Internet Explorer.


    • First time users or existing users by upgrading the viewer may be asked to re-boot their PC after the plug-in installation.
